We were asked to make two cylinders and manafolds for a bike like the one pictured above and again compensating for the shrinkage in both the waxes and the cast iron we produced cylinders that could then be machined to the original specifications.

The final wax cylinder ready to gate up and install on a tree to be coated with our ceramic mixtures.

The finished cylinder, made of 35,000 Grade Cast Iron, with the gates cut off, blended in, and sandblasted to remove any of the remaining ceramic. Ready to ship to the client where the machining will be done. (Isn’t she a beauty!)

Machining the cylinder; drilling holes to mount the cylinder to the block and boring inside the cylinder walls to fit the piston.

Next we made molds and waxes of the exhaust manifolds (note that we filled the mounting holes) the client will have the holes drilled and the surface machined on the final pieces. Same process This was also done on the cylinders.

The finished manifold one of two ready to ship.

The engine with the new cylinders and manifolds installed.

The Bike before the start of restoration.
